Foster Innovation – Hosted by Strix
Your innovation, our program.
Newfoundland and Labrador’s aerospace sector is uniquely positioned to tackle some of the industry’s most pressing challenges. From supporting aviation operations in remote and harsh environments to advancing drone technologies, surveillance capabilities, and next-generation aerospace solutions, innovators across the province are developing ideas that can drive transformation both nationally and globally.
We have seen this firsthand through our work with forward-thinking organizations under the program we power: the Initiative for Sustainable Aviation Technology (INSAT). Building on the success of projects across Canada, we’re coming to St. John’s to connect with organizations that are ready to turn innovative ideas into real-world impact.
On November 17, 2026, Strix is hosting a free networking event in St. John’s, NL – offering ACADA members and non-members alike the chance to explore emerging innovation opportunities as government initiatives map out priorities for the next few years.
Achieving sectoral growth doesn’t come from doing more of the same – it comes from innovation. By gathering organizations from across Newfoundland and Labrador’s aerospace ecosystem, this event in collaboration with ACADA aims to:
- Connect innovators and enablers shaping the future of aerospace in Newfoundland and Labrador and Atlantic Canada
- Explore how innovation can strengthen competitiveness for industry and government
- Highlight practical pathways to grow market share, attract funding, and build strategic partnerships through new ideas
- Showcase INSAT and how it supports organizations to make breakthroughs
Whether you’re advancing autonomous systems, next-generation sensing technologies, or data-driven aerospace solutions, the event’s program allows for attendees to align ambition with action and help expand not just the province’s aerospace footprint but also its influence through collaboration.
If you’re a forward-thinking aerospace organization in Newfoundland and Labrador, we hope to see you there.
