Canadian Space Agency Lunar Exploration Program Workshop

The Canadian Space Agency’s Lunar Exploration Program (LEP) is reaching out across the country to discover what capabilities and technologies exist that can be leveraged to support a significant Canadian contribution to lunar surface exploration. Following an introductory webinar in February, the CSA will now be onsite in St. John’s, NL to present more information related to Canada’s Lunar Utility Vehicle (LUV).
The team will be discussing LUV’s preliminary concept of operations, the associated technical and logistical challenges in the harsh environment of the lunar surface, and the procurement activities that will lead us to mission success.
From the CSA: “We also want to hear from you – What do NL companies have to offer? How can these companies get involved? Are there barriers to entry to government work that need to be addressed?
This session will be interactive, questions and discussions are welcome, and we look forward to meeting you at the end of March.”
